Notes from "Running a Courage Meeting."
- Models of meetings
- - Courage is not a teacher's meeting. We are trying to figure out how to heal a very difficult pain. "Please do not be a teacher when you are running a meeting."
- - Courage is not a psychotherapetic meeting. "Stay away from that. No crosstalk. I emphasize, please, do not allow crosstalk."
- - Courage is like AA.
- No interruptions.
- No politics.
- No theology.
- No challenges.
- Just let them talk.
- Focus on interior chastity (first goal of Courage/Encourage).
- The answers are in each person at the meeting.
- The leader facilitates conversation about the development of interior chastity.
