"Fr. Poblocki's Passionate Pastoral Apologetics."

Fr. Poblocki serves as a parish priest, seems to know the whole communion of saints as his best friends forever, and provides apologetic insights based on his studies, spiritual reading, and personal experience in ministry.

"Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you" (1 Pet 3:15).

NASCAR had the Intimidator (R.I.P.); The Station of the Cross has "the Poblockinator" (Mario Vinti from Facebook).

"Currently serving as Pastor at St. Josaphat's Church in Buffalo, NY, Fr. Rick Poblocki initially felt called to the priesthood in second grade and again while in high school. After graduating with a degree in philosophy from Wadhams Hall Seminary College, he attended Christ the King seminary and was ordained a priest on September 29, 1983. Since his ordination, Fr. Poblocki has been Parochial Vicar at St. Philip the Apostle and Resurrection Churches in Cheektowaga and Queen of Heaven in West Seneca, NY. In 1993 he was named Pastor of Sacred Heart, Portville and St. Mary's in Bolivar, NY. Also just prior to his current assignment, he served as Pastor of St. Hyacinth Church, Dunkirk, NY, and Queen of Peace Church in Buffalo, NY.

"Among Fr. Poblocki's interests is a fascination with religious and mystical experience. In the days to come, he believes that it will be this dimension of the Christian life that will provide not only the ability for Christians to survive the increasing pressures of secularism and godlessness, but it will in the long run provide the 'real proof' of why it's worth being a Catholic and a Christian."[1]
