Raven Aircraft Corporation (formerly WeldTech Ind, W.T. Aircraft) has been a respected supplier of aftermarket parts for for the Pitts S1 and S2 aerobatic aircraft for 11 years. For the S1 we offer parts ranging from a single fitting to complete airframes and finished wings. We offer a complete wing kit utilizing 30% hinge point ailerons as well as a retrofit 30% aileron kit for existing wings. We also offer a number of parts for the experimental S2 including a wing kit with large 30% hinge point ailerons that also incorporates many modifications the make the wing substantially stronger than stock for extreme use. These wings are used by Jim Leroy's "Bulldog" S2S and can be viewed by clicking on the Bulldog icon or link above.

We have also taken the knowledge accumulated over years of experience to design and build our own aircraft, the two-seat Raven 2XS pictured above. The Raven 2XS is a streamlined high performance fully aerobatic biplane powered by a 6 cylinder IO 540 Lycoming engine. It incorporates the best design features from many different aerobatic aircraft, in addition to ideas and modifications from many homebuilders... plus innovations that have come from our own experience. The result is truly unique and exciting high performance aircraft package that you can build yourself.

Funding for research and development of the Raven 2XS has come by way of a partnership with Air Atlanta Icelandic, a very successful charter airline that operates 7 Boeing 767's and 5 747's.
