Grace co-operates with nature

God is the changer of hearts.

He asks us to learn how to co-operate with Him.

God's work is not in competition with our work.

He will not do for us what He asks us to do for ourselves.

He empowers us to do what is healthy and loving.

In a grace-filled act, the work is 100% God's and 100% ours.

We cannot verify this by introspection.

We cannot see the boundary between our action and God's action.

That's because we're not God.

Like a transistor: we do not cause the current flow. We say yes or no to God's power at work in us.

Not everything attributed to grace reduces of freedom.

Not everything attributed to freedom reduces the role of grace.
