St. Bartholomew, apostle without guile.
St. Thomas, whose doubt was turned to joy.
St. Matthew, apostle and evangelist.
St. James, son of Alphaeus, apostle to Egypt.
St. Simon, zealous for the victory of righteousness.
St. Jude Thaddeus, apostle for the hopeless.
St. Matthias, apostle to the East.
Lord Jesus, you chose the Twelve to witness Your life, death, resurrection, and ascension into glory. You sent Your Spirit upon them to empower them to preach the good news to the whole world. Send them among us again today to confirm us in faith, hope, and love. We ask this of Your Father through the Spirit in Your most holy and glorious Name. Amen.
