Dominicans bless roses for the faithful on the great feasts of the Rosary.

O God, Creator and Preserver of mankind! Deign to pour out Your heavenly benediction upon these roses, which we offer to You through devotion and reverence for Our Lady of the Rosary. Grant that these roses, which are made by Your providence to yield an agreeable perfume for the use of men, may receive such a blessing by the sign of Your Holy Cross that all the sick upon whom they shall be laid and all who keep them in their houses may be cured of their ills; and that the devils may fly in terror from these dwellings, not daring to disturb Your servants.
