Novena of Grace
Preface
Novena prayer
O Saint Francis Xavier,
so well-loved and so full of love,
in union with you,
I reverently adore the Divine Majesty;
mindful of the special graces
God bestowed on you during your life
and your gifts of glory after death,
I give Him heartfelt thanks
for all that He has done in and through you.
Therefore, I beseech you
with all my heart's devotion
to be pleased to obtain for me
by your powerful intercession,
above all things,
the grace of a holy life and a happy death.
I also ask you to pray to God
that He may [...].
But if what I ask so earnestly in this novena
does not tend to the glory of God
and the greater good of my soul,
please pray that God may grant me
more than I have asked or can imagine.
Amen.

- The Novena of Grace is normally celebrated from March 4 to 12, inclusive. March 12, 1622, was the date of the canonization of Ignatius, Xavier, Teresa of Avila, Philip Neri, and St. Isidore of Madrid, the Farmer (!).
