The Ultimate Bipe

Built by Mark Kriz.

I changed from a TT .46 to a Saito .91.

It was squirrelly.

At Fall Fest, I tried to land between
two trees without looking.

Erol Bars put two Avistar wings on the fuselage.

It flies great.

Ken Swoope traded me this kit
for Mark's Smith Miniplane.

It took me 2.5 years to assemble it.

I designed and built the cowl.

Put fairings between the wing and fuselage.

Made two fiberglass canopies for it.

I won Second Place at the Manlius Pattern Primer with it.

Got it all trimmed out and flying great.

Performed a classic Figure 9 after a sloppy snap roll.

OUCH! That hurts!

The Blue Goose

I assembled this Hobbico Hobbistar 60
for Dan Warner.

He completely rebuilt and recovered it
just for the fun of it.

I crashed it on the first (1st!) flight.

Dan fixed it.

He crashed it next time out.

I fixed it.

We used it for everything:

smoke,
banners,
gliders,
training.
