By "aspirations," I mean short, heartfelt, often repeated prayers that help us cope with difficulties.

St. Philip Neri
As soon as a man feels that he is tempted, he should fly to God, and devoutly utter that petition which the fathers of the desert so much esteemed:
  • Deus in adjutorium meum intende; Domine ad adjuvandum me festina: "God, come to my assistance; Lord, make haste to help me."
  • Cor mundum crea in me Deus: "A clean heart create in me, O God."
  • "My Jesus, mercy!"
  • "I love you, Jesus, my love."
  • "Jesus, I trust in you."
  • "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me, a sinner."
  • "Jesus, Mary, and Joseph."
  • "I adore you, O Christ, and I bless you, because by your Holy Cross you are redeeming me."
